On This Date: November 13, 1946 – Evansville, Indiana – 76 years ago. A young Buddy Rogers defeated former World Champion Danno O’Mahony in a two out of three falls match. O’Mahony is the man who made the Irish Whip famous and for whom it is named owing to his Irish heritage.
